Adam Jacobs
Adam Jacobs joined the National Marine Sanctuary Foundation staff as Operations Manager in late June 2010. Adam brings with him a wealth of experience in accounting, auditing, and finance, as well as vendor relations across for-profit and not-for-profit organizations.
Most recently, Adam worked for the Administration of Children’s Services for the City of New York, where he reviewed payments in excess of $100 million to more than 30 agencies, based on budget and vendor codes. For five years prior to that, he worked as a financial administrator at MDE Group, a wealth management firm based in New Jersey, and over his career, he has held positions as controller, auditor, and accountant.
In addition to managing our office finances, operations, and administration, Adam will serve as the point of contact for the NOAA Office of National Marine Sanctuaries and other NOAA offices for the day-to-day implementation of our cooperative agreement and processing of Requests for Service under that agreement.
