The Ernest F. Hollings Ocean Awareness Trust Fund
NMSF’s annual Hollings Grants, supported by the Ocean Awareness Trust Fund, initiate and strengthen projects that honor former Sen. Ernest F. Hollings’s commitment to increasing the American public’s understanding of our ocean and promoting opportunities for all Americans to take action for ocean stewardship. Through the Hollings Grants program, NMSF seeks to ensure that all Americans understand and value ocean resources, and promote the value of national marine sanctuaries in the conservation of marine resources.
